LA Galaxy II Sign Midfielder Julian Buscher for 2018 USL Season
“Julian is an experienced young professional that adds immediate leadership and quality to the group in our central midfield,” said LA Galaxy II Head Coach Mike Muñoz. “He understands what it takes to compete at this level and I look forward to integrating him into our project. We are excited to have Julian with LA Galaxy II this year.”
The Dolmen, Germany native came to the United States to play soccer at Syracuse University. Prior to that, he spent time with both the VfL Bochum and SC Preußen Münster academies.
He played two seasons in college from 2014-15. While there, he earned ACC All-Freshman Team (2014) and All-ACC First Team (2015) honors. He was then drafted by D.C. United 11th overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. In two seasons with the Red and Black, he played in 27 games, scoring one goal.
