Podcast (February 10, 2018) – Hello Rapids Fans! Since we weren’t bombarded with hate mail, angry ravens, and yelled at on Twitter, we figured we should record a second episode, right?
Holding The High Line Episode 2: Ceiling Art
This week, Rabbi and Red break down what roster moves the Rapids could make in the final few weeks of preseason. We break down which draft picks could end up making the squad. The guys also discuss who could be on their way to Charlotte Independence or other USL sides on loan. The guys play ‘Patience or Panic’ regarding the lack of a significant striker signing. Matt tries to talk Mark down and then goes into a deep TAM calculation to show the Pids still have some wiggle room for now (and the summer). The lads finish off talking about Rapids Money Ball and ‘This Week in Rapids History.’
Oh, and Rabbi is super fascinated with the ceiling art in Red’s hotel room.
Holding The High Line with Rabbi and Red is a soccer podcast centered around the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. The show aims to provide analysis based coverage and commentary of Colorado Rapids SC and have some fun while doing so. We record weekly-ish. It is hosted by Mark Goodman of Burgundy Wave and Matt Pollard from Last Word on Soccer.

Mark Goodman is a writer for the Burgundy Wave. He focuses on long form editorials. A stats nerd at heart, he loves focusing on the Rapids Academy and human interest stories within the club. In his other life, he’s a Rabbi, suffering Arsenal fan, and a father of two. He also knows way more about the Israeli Premier League than you do. Follow him on Twitter @rapidsrabbi.
Matt Pollard is the Managing Editor of Last Word on Soccer and a beat writer covering the Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy. When he’s not watching soccer or at work, the Colorado transplant enjoys skiing and hiking all over the state. He’ll talk your ear off about soccer stadium architecture if you let him. For some inexplicable reason, he thought starting a podcast with Mark was a good idea. Follow him on Twitter @LWOSMattPollard.
