CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16 Schedule Set

MIAMI, FLORI. (December 22, 2017) – The 2018 CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16 schedule is set. The knockout stage of the tournament will begin in Tuesday, February 20th of next year. The last of the second leg matches will take place on Thursday, March 1st.

The Round of 16 schedule is shown below. Note that all times are Easter Standard Time, in military time. The home team is listed first for all matches.

Four of the five MLS teams in this competition will begin on the road. New York Red Bulls, Colorado Rapids, and Toronto FC will probably have the coldest matches of the tournament. Regardless of travel or opponent, four MLS teams should be expected to advance to the quarterfinals.

The tournament should provide some good entertainment for fans in the two weeks before the start of the 2018 MLS regular season. The quarterfinal matches are due to take place between March 6-8 with the second legs happening the following week, March 13-15. There is the potential for an all MLS vs. Liga MX quarterfinal.
