Podcast (January 30, 2018) – Hello and welcome to Holding the High Line with Rabbi and Red! We are a brand new Colorado Rapids themed podcast. Today, Mark and Matt introduce themselves, the podcast, and how we came up with it. The guys do a full 2018 depth chart as the team stands today and talk about how Colorado could play this year.

We finish off our pilot episode by talking goals and expectations for the rest of preseason and have a laugh with ‘This Week in Rapids History.’

Holding The High Line Episode 1: Pilot

Holding The High Line with Rabbi and Red is a soccer podcast centered around the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. The show aims to provide analysis based coverage and commentary of Colorado Rapids SC and have some fun while doing so. We record weekly-ish. It is hosted by Mark Goodman of Burgundy Wave and Matt Pollard from Last Word on Soccer.

We’re working on getting on other podcatchers as well to make it easier for you to find us. We’ll keep you updated via Twitter when those other outlets become available.

Mark Goodman is a writer for the Burgundy Wave. He focuses on long form editorials. A stats nerd at heart, he loves focusing on the Rapids Academy and human interest stories within the club. In his other life, he’s a Rabbi, suffering Arsenal fan, and a father of two. He also knows way more about the Israeli Premier League than you do. Follow him on Twitter @rapidsrabbi.

Matt Pollard is the Managing Editor of Last Word on Soccer and a beat writer covering the Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy. When he’s not watching soccer or at work, the Colorado transplant enjoys skiing and hiking all over the state. He’ll talk your ear off about soccer stadium architecture if you let him. For some inexplicable reason, he thought starting a podcast with Mark was a good idea. Follow him on Twitter @LWOSMattPollard.
