Podcast (April 6, 2017) – Happy April listeners! This week on Last Word SC Radio, Matt Pollard does a solo hodgepodge episode. Let’s get to it.
Last Word SC Radio: CCL Sadness, CONCACAF Combined World Cup Bid, And MLS News
First Matt reviews the week of CONCACAF Champions Leauge action. Matt recaps FC Dallas’s loss at Pachuca and what went wrong in the final 15 minutes for them. He gives his take on how Vancouver Whitecaps never really had a chance in CCL. Matt also gives some ideas for how MLS can continue to inch closer to beating Liga MX teams and finally winning CCL.
Then Matt talked about the rumored combined World Cup bid between Mexico, the United States, and Canada. He does a full recap of the blockbust trade between the Colorado Rapids and Minnesota United FC. We finish off by talking about Bastian Schweinsteiger’s first game and doing a full Weekend Pick ‘Em.
